Reynoldsburg Magazine was first launched in 2006 as a tool to promote the city, the city's activities and its people. At the time, no other suburban communities had feature magazines. Columbus Monthly was the only such publication and that was - and still is - distributed on a subscription basis. The Reynoldsburg Visitors Bureau had the vision to create this publication as a means to reach out to residents and promote the city. It started out as a quarterly magazine but soon became a biannual publication. The magazine is kept alive by its dedicated advertisers, some of whom have been around since Issue One. It also receives funds from the Reynoldsburg Visitors and Community Activities Bureau, a non-profit organization funded by a portion of the local hotel tax revenue. The Bureau is governed by a Board of Directors and is run by an Executive Director.
